What Do You Think of the New Sleep Number Commercials?

All of us here at Select Comfort are excited about the launch of our new TV commercials. The TV ads highlight unique benefits and values of the Sleep Number bed through the voices of REAL owners and people trying our bed for the first time. If you’ve ever laid down on a Sleep Number bed, you can definitely relate to their initial reactions. I know I reacted in much the same way when I first discovered the benefits of this adjustable bed.

Our new commercials are being shown in seven markets across the U.S. right now, but anyone can view them HERE, on our Sleep Number YouTube Channeland on our Facebook page (just search for Must Sleep if you are not already a fan). We really we want to hear your feedback on the new commercials. Do you like them? Dislike them? Is there anything you’d change? Please post your comments below. We welcome your feedback!

Happy Viewing!

    Hi Brian,
I’m not sure if it is Rob Bell or not. We’ll check with the team that helped create these commercials and get back to you with an answer.

    Brian,
We checked, and no– it isn’t Rob Bell. Thanks for watching the commercials though. What do you think of them?

Just finished watching ABC news at 6:00 PM. Phila. What are you thinking using such offensive English in your commmercial?

“you can lay on this bed; you can lay on that bed”, etc. You can NOT LAY on any bed! You LIE on a bed, You can LAY a pillow on a bed, you can LAY something (or even LAY someone) on a bed, BUT you can not “lay” down on anything, unless you are placing (goose down) onto a pillow to make a down-filled pillow.

If you’re on National TV, clean up your act and get your “lay”/”lie” stuff together because you’re coming off “English-Challenged” at best – stupid at worst. and tht’s not good for business.

It’s two different verbs: LIE = ppr present: a book LYING on the table; OR a verb: LAY a book on the table. But: A chicken LAID an egg,if it happened in the past. And, I would have LAIN on one of your beds and purchased it if I could afford it!

I hope this helps you, your ads, your business.

Used as a NOUN: The boy told a LIE.

Also, when you get sick you are “LAID UP”

Under some circumstances one can “GET LAID,”

You can even Get LAID up-side-down, but you can’t LAY DOWN, unless you are working in a down factory, LAYING the down into the pillows.

Having read this I thought it was extremely informative.
I appreciate you spending some time and energy to put this
short article together. I once again find myself personally spending a lot of time both reading and commenting.
But so what, it was still worthwhile!
