Annie Bloomquist joined Select Comfort in May 2008 as Vice President General Merchandise Manager. Select Comfort designs, manufactures and markets a line of adjustable-firmness mattresses featuring air-chamber technology, branded the SLEEP NUMBER® bed, as well as foundations and premium sleep number accessories.
As Vice President General Merchandise Manager, Bloomquist’s responsibilities include overseeing strategic direction, product development and all operations for Select Comfort’s accessory business. She is in charge of all Sleep Number bedding accessories including pillows, mattress pads, sheets, comforter and blankets.
Annie began her career with Marshall Fields, the department store division of Target, in 1996. She has experience in buying and planning roles and most recently was a Divisional Merchandise Manager for Housewares and Textiles divisions at Macy’s North. Over her tenure she also worked on lifestyle product development programs traveling to Europe, India, Philippians, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico and Peru on a semi annual basis. Her product experience has been across all areas of the home business.
Annie resides in Minneapolis with her husband, two children and two dogs. Her Sleep Number is a 35.
