Realizing that pain is a large part of many people’s lives, I’ve collected some testimonials regarding pain relief made possible by the Sleep Number bed. Looking at these makes me proud to work for Select Comfort!

Having been afflicted by severe back and neck pain for many years, the Sleep Number bed has been a blessing for me and is the best bed for back pain. Waking up with severe neck and lower back pain since a young teenager, the Sleep Number bed came as a huge relief. At 13, I was lucky enough to have a fabulous family member who worked for the company. Said fabulous family member knew the benefits of the bed from having the bed herself and from working with Select Comfort and she got me a Sleep Number bed. The first few nights sleeping on my new Twin Long 5000 (now a p5), I slept at 100, so unused to a bed conforming to by body that anything lower felt like I was on a waterbed. After what I would guesstimate as 3 nights, I decided to venture out. After all, I figured what was the point of sleeping on this bed at 100 when the whole point of the bed was to be comfortable, not stiff as a board? So, I changed the setting. What a huge difference 5 points will make! It took me a while, but finally, I settled upon the number 45. I’ve been there ever since.

Once I got a older, the Twin Long wasn’t quite enough sleeping space for me. So, I lucked out and my mom (who was working for Select Comfort in the Customer Call Center) decided to get me a Queen 5000 model. I was sold after 60 seconds. The sleeping space was huge and I was able to sleep kiddy corner, if that’s what I wanted to do. Once I began working at Select Comfort, I bought a Queen Sleep Number 7000 bed (similar to the current i8 model). My back pain is improved and my neck pain is more manageable. I can’t wait to slip into bed every night! When people come over to my house and lay on my bed, their first comment is “WOW!
