Sewn in the United States of America

Americans all over the country will soon celebrate the Fourth of July. And, no matter how one celebrates the patriotic holiday – fireworks, hot dog-eating contests, honoring the history of our country’s independence, neighborhood gatherings, shopping, or resting in the hammock – most people can agree they feel proud to be American.

We at Select Comfort are proud that all Sleep Number beds are sewn in the United States. Recently, we added this tag to the end of our mattresses to show our pride.

Sleep Number beds are Sewn in the USA

Sleep Number beds are Sewn in the USA

In fact, our little company employs more than 2,000 Americans across the country …in small towns and big cities, and more than 300 people work in our plants in Utah and South Carolina. This hardworking and diverse group exemplifies what’s best about America. It’s truly inspiring to witness the pride they have for their workmanship and our product, and to watch them stamp the Sewn in the USA label on the Sleep Number bed. Their passion for the product is infectious, and it makes me proud to work with them. Our Utah plant and the Sleep Number bed were recently featured on the Discovery Channel’s Factory Made. To see how the Sleep Number bed is made, you can visit www.youtube.com/sleepnumber.

How are you planning to celebrate your Fourth of July holiday? Last year, I celebrated it in the Caribbean while on my honeymoon. This year, I look forward to spending time with family and friends in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Sleep well and have a safe holiday.
