Mattress Buying Tips Twitter Party–redeux

Back in February, we hosted our first Twitter party devoted exclusively to helping people navigate the mattress-buying process. The resulting conversation was fantastic.

We heard from many folks they found the mattress-buying process quite daunting. But, after an hour-and-a-half of discussion and tip-sharing, those same folks started to feel a bit different.

We talked about finding your unique sleep ID, considering pillows and other bedding accessories when making your decision and how you have to consider quality, comfort, price AND size before you lay down your money for a new mattress.

Twitter party participants left feeling energized and more knowledgeable about the mattress-buying process. Mission accomplished, right?

While we were thrilled to see people getting smarter about how to buy their next mattress, in the last three months, we’ve heard from others who missed out on that first Twitter party. People who could benefit from the tips, information and opinions shared between participants and Sleep Number sleep professionals during that chat.

So, we’re holding another Twitter party to discuss this very same topic.

This Twitter party will be held on Monday, May 16 from 7 PM – 8 PM CT. I will once again host the party (@SleepNumberSara) along with sleep expert @SleepGeekPete. Our goal? To help you get smarter about the mattress buying process by sharing tips, information and lessons from others.

Join the Twitter party by following me (@SleepNumberSara) and @SleepGeekPete and tweeting with the #SleepNumber hashtag on Twitter from 7 PM – 8 PM CT (8 – 9 PM ET), Monday, May 16.

Oh, and I almost forgot the best part!

As with the last party, participants are elgible for a chance to win a Queen Sleep Number p5 bed set with UPS shipping ($2,069.99 value). Must be 18 years of age or older, and a U.S. resident. Must use the #SleepNumber hashtag during the Twitter party and must sign-up at  http://beds.com/fan-community/sleep-number-twitter-party/ to be entered. Winners will be randomly selected among eligible participants and announced by @SleepNumberSara on Twitter on or around May 17. Winners are required to pay federal taxes on gift. If requested, winners agree to promptly complete and return a W-9 form: Payer’s Request for Tax Payer’s Identification Number and Certification and you understand that, if required, the Prize/Gift supplier will issue a 1099 form and report the fair market value of the prize and/or gift to the Internal Revenue Service as required under current tax law.

I posted this comment last night, thinking this was the right place to RSVP for the #sleepnumber party. Imagine my surprise when I noticed the link to RSVP today (before the party started) led to a form–which I had not previously filled out. I certainly hope you got my RSVP.

Thanks to the author for the article!

For example, I’d like to tell about my feelings after buying a normal mattress and a bed, I’ve begun to feel great, I just can’t find a word. I do not have a back pain anymore. My wife also likes it. About any bugs, spiders and bugs – here I can only say that it’s a normal mattress. Incidentally this is one of the options I have such a mattress and a bed. http://leggettandplattadjustablebeds.com

Well, thanks very much for all those people who create things like this!
